hit-Technopark = a company with vision
Since 1994 Wolfram Birkel has managed hit-Technopark and, as private investor, expanded the commercial and technical floor space to an area of 25,000 sq. metres. The passionate yachtsman and collector of historic timepieces established the office buildings in a park environment. He made sure that the pavilion style architecture created a campus atmosphere where startups as well as experienced entrepreneurs and their employees could feel at ease. Over and above this Wolfram Birkel organizes regular art exhibitions and workshops.
Within this framework in hit-Technopark, he has realized his vision of promoting communication between companies, scientists and researchers in Hamburg. Through actively consulting companies he personally supports the implementation of conceptual ideas. His son Christoph joined the board of hit-Technopark in 2005.
